1. Alpharius Omegon: I feel that they were the real brilliant tacticians and I love their tactics.
2.Corvus Corax: Love his tactics and he seemed to be a lot more humble than the other Primarchs
3. Konrad Curze: Tactics are awesome and he's just a boss
4. Fulgrim: Pretty much killed two other Primarchs, like a boss
5. Sanguinus: Sometimes I think that he strove the hardest out of all the Primarchs to try and make the Big E's dream come true. And he's an utter boss.

Same 5, different order:

1) Sang
2) Konrad
3) Corax
4) Fulgrim
5) Alpharius

Playing: Droids (Legion), Starks (ASOIAF), BB2
Working on: Starks (ASOIAF), Twilight Kin (KoW). Droids (Legion)

Corax all the way. Now this may have something to do with the fact that I play raven guard but not only was he awesome and kicked lorgars ass but he also quoted Edger Alan Poe's "The Raven" which is pretty impressive seeing as Edger died like a billion years before. + I like the Raven guard tactics his pro surgical strikes embody what i love about space marines.

anyway he may still be alive since no one ever herd of him again after he flew into the eye to own some traitorous scum.

but didn't you piss on Maggy in TS thread ?
No, I never "piss" on him. I just don't harbor any delusions about him acting out of real loyalty. He was definitely a traitor. But he's still a cool character!

Cool, but still you picked 3 totally different character's - like good (Sanguinius),bad (Magnus) and the ugly(Guilliman) :-)

ADB: I showed the Wolves revealing the key weakness at the heart of the World Eaters; showing Angron that his Legion was broken and worthless compared to the others; that he was the one primarch who couldn't trust his own warriors, and that they didn't care if he lived or died; showing that loyalty to brothers and sons is the heart of success for the Legiones Astartes, to the point even Lorgar makes a big deal out of saying the World Eaters and their primarch were massively outclassed by Russ, and Angron was too stupid to see the lesson Russ had sacrificed time, sweat, and blood, to teach. We're talking about a battle the Wolves won, by isolating the enemy general through pack tactics, and threatening to kill him, without a hope of defending himself. It was a balance, 50/50 - Angron overpowered Russ, and the Wolves were losing ground to the World Eaters; but Russ and his warriors had Angron by the balls, and barely broke a sweat. They won, no question. Lorgar even says: "The Wolves won, meathead."

Dorn won’t help you either. He’s too busy being the Emperor’s groundskeeper, hiding behind the palace walls. The Wolf is too busy cutting off heads as our father’s executioner, while the Lion holds on to his secrets, and has no special fondness for you. Who else will come? Not Ferrus, certainly. Nor Corax either. Even as we speak, I suspect he flees for Deliverance. Sanguinius?’ Curze laughed cruelly. ‘The angel is more cursed than I. The Khan? He does not wish to be found. So who is left? No one, Vulkan. None of them will come. You are simply not that important. You are alone.’ Konrad Curze to Vulkan

Guilliman is my all time favourite, he's the reason I do Ultramarines, he does what has to be done, (almost) never loses his rag and took it upon himself to ensure that no other person, including himself, would ever manage to gain as much power as Horus, even though he was trying to re-unite the Imperium at the time. Limiting your own power and that of others around you, whilst trying to undertake a task that would have made any other Primarch sick only months before. That is the definition of what a Primarch should be, the ultimate General.

gotta be Dorn, he was the emperors most loyal son.

1. Sanguinius
2. Alpharius/Omegon (sneaky cool)
3. Konrad (tragedy+unorthodox tactics that worked)
4. Perturabo
5. Russ

Seeing a squad of veterens swoop in in a Vendetta, secure the area, deliver that math assignment, and extract within 2 minutes would be freaking sweet.
