Oh, trust me, if you want to make guard more challenging, you can make guard more challenging. If you're bored because you're wiping your local opponents with guard, the problem is with you, not with guard.

I have tried a very large variety of lists, and outside of purely choosing to lose they still always end up winning by purely being extremely cheap and having so much on the field. If you are saying that I can loose by intending to lose, this is correct but I refuse to play to lose.

What kind of lists are you using that are autowins? Because I'd love to see what you're using.

Not trolling, I always like looking over others lists to learn new ways to play

As I have said I have used a really wide range of lists with them, from Footguard Gunline to Ogryns Deathblob to Parking Lot. If I had to say what I "usually" run it would be something like CCS, Min Storm Trooper Squad (AA), PCS, 40 IS Blob with Commissar, 2 x 10 Veterans in Chimeras, Vendetta, 2 x LRBT, 1 x Manticore, Aegis Line. Something like that at 1500 points with upgrades to fit as I please. Sometimes go light autocannons and buff up the Veterans/Stormtrooper upgrades (maybe even bring a second AA Stormtrooper squad) or go mass missile launchers and flamer Vets or something.

And it's not really "auto-win", nothing is truly in that category as I still have to play a competent game to get it to win. However anyone with a decent understanding of the rules and the ability to make half logical decisions could do really good with that list, and apparently especially in my local Meta.

That or you need to find some better opponents.

There's nothing particularly good about what you're bringing, so it's got to be some sort of meta problem, like you being phenominally lucky, or there being something wonky with terrain, or your opponents, or something.

Trust me, you are not "just that good" that with any given mediocre guard list you're going to be able to beat face against anybody on the planet with a guard army right now.

Oh I never thought I was "just that good", heck it is a game based on dice there is no way to reliably do that. I don't play a FLGS, I play with a group of friends. My local meta is pretty skewed from anything the internet says or suggests, so I'm sure that if I fought people that were tournament players it would be different. But fact is I'm not really going too, I just want to play with my buddies....and in that respect they end up not being fun hence me looking to get rid of them. Plus I just find my other races more fun and would like to just put more into them.
