Another week, another update.

Been busy this week. I've finished my other two servitors which means that the Triplets are ready for war!

Here's a quick pic of Coteaz and the painted parts of his warband so far.

Finally, I started working on the acolyte based on the Arch-confessor Kyrinov model I have. I wanted a white robe similar to the GW paint scheme for the model, but I just couldn't get it to a stage where I was happy; so I gave up on the model.

I was going to re-strip it and start again when I remembered that I had another model, still boxed up that I've been wanting to paint since I bought it (back in 2007!!!). So, without further ado I present: the White Dwarf himself!

Afternoon all, just thought I'd update you all with the progress of the warband. Today I've finished my tech priest henchman. It was a complete blast to paint.

Enjoy!

shading/highlighting on the face of that tech priest is brilliant. Keep up the amazing work.

The White Dwarf commeth:

I really enjoyed doing the beard and the face on this model. I started off doing the beard from a dark grey and working my way up, but it started to looking a little grainy so I started again and tried something new.

I painted the beard solid white over 4 layers, and the created a number of washes and glazes by mixing greys and browns with a fair bit of medium. I think it looks really good, and gives me high hopes when I (eventually) purchase the new Dwarf command set from Forge World.

Anyway, only one more henchman to go; and with Throne of Skulls only 2 weeks away, it looks like I'll have everything painted with time to spare.

Afternoon all, it's update time!

I've finished the Rogue Trader, who is a henchman with Bolter and Laspistol. Hope you like it:

With this model done, I've finally finished my henchman squad. With that, I'm now ready for Throne of Skulls. Here's the squad:

And with Coteaz leading from the front!
