Wherever and whenever they appear they leave only destruction in their wake; they are the Lords of Death, Bringers of War. The Dark Angels.

Oh, you think the darkness is your ally, but you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t see the light until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!- Helen Keller

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

They really arn't similer except that both are on the same size base and elite-ish.

Warriors have a superior statline and equipment options, but are also much more expensive.

Lizardmen have excellent magic and their troops are solid, but not super elite like Warriors.

I don't know, on the other hand...

Warriors of Chaos are a tough, average-speed army that's forced to rely on magic for range because other than a few unusual units their only other ranged option is fast cavalry.

Lizardmen are a tough, slow army that's force to rely on magic for range because other than a few unusual units their only other ranged option is skirmishers.

And Dark Elves are a somewhat fragile but potentially extremely speedy army with many ranged options that can also participate in the magic phase.
