This is exactly my same feeling...except I have an older HP, not a MacBook lol.

For me, I only game on my PC at this point. I greatly prefer RTS and RPG games to fighters, so most of the console games don't interest me to begin with. Also, the constant need to upgrade PCs is overstated, I can play any game I want on my $400 (though originally $700) semi-gaming laptop on highest settings (granted, the most demanding game I play is Fallout New Vegas, but I consider that pretty good for a $400 laptop).

I had a 360 for about 2 years, I used it twice before selling it at a significant loss. I have had a PC for over a decade and I use it daily. I think thats all I need to say in this thread.

PC for most things, but can't do without my GH on PS2. I also prefer driving games on console, but regularly play ME and Skyrim on PC for the mod communities there.

Not a huge fan of MMOs though, do my gaming alone, and am saving up to build my own gaming rig.

Only thing I have completely decided on at the moment is the case, a Corsair Vengeance C70, either Arctic White or Militry Green.

I have no opinion as to which is better but I do much prefer playing on a console than a computer.

I like both, and I don't understand why there's so much heated debate about it. If I prefer console games, why does it matter to you that I do? Go play your games, and I'll play mine. That's not intended to be directed at anyone, just kind of a general statement. I've seen console players get mercilessly attacked on forums simply because they preferred console gaming over PC gaming.

Honestly, it all comes down to a matter of what game I'm playing. Keyboard and mouse is far superior for pinpoint aiming, but controllers can make up for it with aim assist. However, driving and platforming is far easier with a controller, since a controller has more freedom of movement (360 degrees of moving, plus you can tilt the control stick slightly to move slower). As my friend puts it whenever we play Saints Row: The Third, there's two directions you can go while driving with a keyboard: fething right, and fething left. With a controller, you've got the option of going slightly left and slightly right to ease around turns, or gently weave through traffic.

It's also worth noting that some PC games, especially ones that are ports from consoles, can have notoriously bad control schemes with no option to change them. Case in point, the original Darksiders. I had no trouble with it (since I do use my PS3 controller plugged into the computer to play it), but my friend, who doesn't have that option, complained about how hard combat was simply because of the awkward control scheme, and there were no options to change things around. What I'm driving at is that PC games aren't perfect for everything, and ports from consoles can be awful if not done right. Just look at the problems that the original Borderlands had, few as they were, just because the port job wasn't very good.

Just my two cents.

I'm equal on them. Newer games are mostly console, but I play a ton of older games on the PC. It's harder for me to justify continually upgrading my PC to get the newest and hottest games, but occasionally one will come along that'll get me to do it.

Because vidya game mods. That alone makes some games go from meh to woah

I enjoy PCs because of the mass ammount of Moba and Turn Based Strategy games.
