According to The Butcher's Nails, Angron and Lorgar really didn't get along. I'm not sure if it can be called a rivalry, but they nearly set their forces against each other and were only stopped by a lucky Dark Eldar attack. It's kind of strange, since Angron respects Lorgar in combat and Lorgar is genuinely concerned about his brother's well-being, but neither really appreciates the other's opinion.

Couldn't help it lol. My favorite is definitely the Russ/Lion or Russ/Magnus.

It kind of depends on context here, I mean to me rivalry means that they were always trying to best/beat each other as a superiority kind of thing, not so much disliking or not trusting a person.

I mean if I hated or didn't trust a bear that doesn't make it a rival, it makes it a bear that I don't like. Don't get me wrong, it probably doesn't like me but that doesn't make us rivals I don't think. (Also I'd make for a poor rival to a bear.)

Some of the ones listed are just people hating/distrusting each other.

Perturabo vs Dorn I would say is a rivalry as they both wanted to be known as the greatest siege fighter or something along those lines.

Whereas Russ vs Magnus, this wasn't a rivalry, this was a combination of hatred/mistrust/reprimand. Russ didn't like what Magnus was doing (disobeying Emp etc) so he hated/distrusted him for it and eventually brought him to task upon being ordered.

As far as I can tell it, Magnus didn't really hate/resentment towards Russ, don't get me wrong probably not the best of chums but I wouldn't say rivals.

This could just be me reading into this wrong.

I love it when this topic comes up I recommend you check out this site http://menducia.atspace.com/primarchs/I.html not sure who wrote it but it provides a sort of an insight in to the Primarchs and their thoughts on each other. I know it's not canon but I still like to use it as a point of reference.

It mainly uses the personalities of the primarchs and compares them against each other, and yes it also includes the two missing ones but don't read too much into that
