AGain, this is how the rules have worked since 2007. It is simply a wound with no armour saves, and is not the weapon that causes the wound, just rolling a 1 causes a wound with no armour saves

Kronk is right, but the rule (for curiosity's sake) is (from Pg. 93):

Adds an extra D6 attacks in close combat. Roll the dice every time the model is about to attack. If the result is a 1, the bound Daemon with the weapon rebels - the model may not make any attacks this round and suffers one wound with no armour saves allowed.

It says that on a roll of a 1 he takes an unsaved wound. This wound does not come from the weapon. In the example of a plasma gun Gets Hot, a T3 model does not suffer instant death from Gets Hot. Same situation here.

But there's no blissgiver in the new dex so don't worry about it so much.

"Huddle close to your Emperor if he makes you feel safe. He cannot save you, for only Chaos is eternal."

Cross: Noun. A thing you nail people to.

As Sothas said, they pretty much trashed the daemon weapons in the new codex so Blissgiver is gone.

"Better have one flexible neck to be making that shot," Bob said.

"You only assume the Balefire is coming out of his mouth, Bob. In my world, the Heldrake is pooping daemonic fire on your troops as it jets away from their mangled and now burning corpses." -John

My best advice being a fellow ork player is to always refuse a challenge unless your opponent is going at the same initiative or less than you are.

also your painboy cannot be challenged as he is not a character model, nor any other member of your biker unit.

Wrong. Painboyz are characters per the appendix in the BRB. The FAQ has not changed this.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

You can pretty much accept challenges from anyone who has S4 or lower, or anyone with less attacks than you've got wounds left. Crushing a character in close combat is always better than doing nothing, even when you lose some wounds in the process.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.
