There is no such thing as too good for tourney play.

Some lists may not be fun to play against, but going to a tournament isn't about fun. It's about winning.

Which is exactly why I don't go to tournaments.

This is very important. If you attend tournaments, the only objective should be winning, because it's what most tournaments judge. So long as that remains as-is, I won't be going to any, and I would encourage others to do the same - not that I expect to enjoy success there.

She might be undercosted and certainly has a wide mile of uses however shes not bad. However as pointed out shes a firm #2 in power for that armies HQ slot.

At best she is a one girl tarpit or a counter for the one thing you dont wanna see. The difficulty is there are more than enough tools in the army where you typically don't need her unless you just have to throw her at nobs or a guard blob for a turn or two to block off advance. Jackobs is a much more stout option in almost all other regards.

Great stats, though you'll seldom get any use of the BS 7. Good saves, which helps. A heavy flamer and a high number of attacks with a power sword makes her no better against Terminators than anything else the SoB could try in CC - better off shooting the real heavy infantry with your Exorcist tanks (which are what my group usually cry about).

And returning from the dead which she certainly needs being a T3 CC-focused HQ without Eternal Warrior. Everything of Strength 6+ will cause Instant Death. There's a multitude of lists that boast such attacks in force, faced one last weekend in fact. Celestine went off to hunt down Tau suits and predictably collected a whole lot of Overwatch fire from them. In the end she prevailed but I had to make two armor saves and an Invulnerable save, all of which would have been ID if failed.

The saint is perhaps a bit low-priced, but compared to a SW Rune Priest she's still nothing to cry about. Had one drop pod in, wipe out 12 SoB of a 20-squad with a rule book PSA (two turns of use though), then finally charge and kill Jacobus immediately with his S6 rune weapon. T3 makes FNP a lot less useful too.

Edit: One thing is sure - while she's worth taking now she wasn't in the WH codex. 201 points for a T3 model that takes a chunk of your Faith points with her on the first death? No thanks.
