Please send me a PM when you are up and running and ready to start selling. I really wants these
I'd echo that comment – a set of stairs, if feasible, would be a fantastic addition. As well as internal stairs, have you considered an entrance piece, with the door slightly raised (maybe half an inch from the surface of the board) and a low but wide set of stairs? Something like this:
It'd be a neat way to add some depth to the board, and it's one of the things that bugs me a bit about most building/ruin terrain – most important buildings make a great deal about their entrances, and a couple of feet of stairs goes a long way to helping protect against flood and dirt.
Regarding the buttresses, any chance of some solid ones? If the buttress could be done as a gothic arch (i.e. basically the inside of a gothic window arch), that'd fit in nicely.
Here's a very rough sketch to show what I mean – in this instance the wall would be on the right-hand side of the image.
Some simple detailing (like a recess/projection) would make it look lovely, and it'd be great in-game, adding some stability to the wall/building, and providing cover – assuming the buttress is an inch or so wide.

Very impressed with these designs. I look forward to hopefully seeing any physical test pieces that you make. If they look as good as everything so far I can see a decent sized order being made

Your ideas look great!
Maybe a few suggestions..
Those cool fire escapes on the outside of large apartment buildings would be neat.
Maybe some combination of different brick types on building fronts..you know large brick ( cinderblock ) and smaller brick.
Keep up the good work!!

Gorgeous – that's exactly what I had in mind.
Do you have a plan (or indeed, a timescale) for production of these pieces? If so, what sort of prices are you looking at?

I'm hoping to be able to sell the small single panels for around £1.50 each, the big roller shutter one which is 12 small panels around £15 and the stepped entrance one which is 8 small panels around £10
As for time scale it's a little more difficult to determine as I wasn't expecting the 3d printing of these to be so much. I may have to take my ideas to a kickstarter type site.
@FarseerAndyMan, I'm actually working on steel steps for internal or external use at the minute.

Those prices sound very reasonable
Regarding the half-size walls that Necroagogo mentioned, would it make sense to make the entrance steps go up to the same height? That way people could have a solid (i.e. no windows) level of half-size walls and the stair entrance(s), with proper full-size walls with windows etc. in above the ground?

I'll look in to that Apologist. In the mean time any new designs are on hold whilst I look in to production costs for these. I'll then be looking at a kickstarter or similar to get this off the ground. The masters are shaping up to be a bit on the costly side.

Keep in mind when you are trying to work out your master's that you can save a crap load or two by avoiding printing things which don't need printing.
Each wall section is just a flat chunk to start with. You can cut them out of a durable material (foamed PVC, acrylic, wood...) either with traditional tools (table saw for example) or have them cut using a laser cutting service.
After that, various bits and bobs which are more complicated than what can easily be cut out of flat stock can then be printed and added to the flat stock in order to create the master for mold making.
For increased versatility, you can even look at having the main structure laser cut and standard inserts being cast for sale to be popped into the holes by the end user.
A wall module might have a small door, large door and two window openings. The module itself either being laser cut or flat cast. You then make a couple of small door options which are designed similar to the manner in which prehung exterior doors are sold (door, jams, brick mold...). The end user can then choose between a simple opening with no door, an ornate door befitting the Gothic motif, a spartan door which works well with IG styling or even more interesting options like Tau or even Necron inspired designs. The same would also apply to the large door and the various window openings.
The end result would minimize your start up costs (smaller components to be printed, molded and cast) as well as maximize the versatility of the parts.

A panel of a normal wall section with a hole blasted in it big enough to draw LoS would be nice.
+1
I would even request a wall section with only one side modeled because I often model buildings where the inside isn't even visible.
I'd also buy pillars for supporting floors that are large like the photo above. The second floor was much larger, but broke off during games. I could have used wall sections to support, but wanted to allow players to fit their hands on each floor.

None of the panels have any detailing on them at the moment, I'd not decided whether to or not. As for pillars it had crossed my mind but will need to see if it is worth it first.
I'm currently in talks with several companies to get masters made and moulds done for the final castings. Once I know start up costs I'll be setting up a crowd funder, what would people like to see in a box set? Also what are peoples opinions on the tab on the rear that GW use for holding the floor tiles in place? Do you want them on or off?

In a box set I would like to see the wall sections (plain panels, windows sections and a door) the flooring tiles (really love a grate too) some of the roof edge what ya ma call its things and one stair case. That would be a great start for a box set and then I could buy additional pieces from you to fill out the structure as needed. No skulls on anything (even the box).
I would be wanting the tabs as they are really helpful in getting the floors to line up and stay in place once glued.
Watching this thread with keen interest as I want to get these products as soon as they are available.
Love your work

I would buy some corners that accommodate the Necromunda panels too. I have about 200 sitting in a tub somewhere that I have big plans for, but never got around to because making corners is a pain.

Ok so I've been thinking and talking to a resin caster and I really need to think about doing these as a box set so here's my first box set.
Small industrial building, contents will be 2 x vent panels, 4 x window3 panels, 1 set of stairs (1 x stair left 1 x stair right 9 x steel step 2 x steel rail), 1 x roller door, 1 x roller door open, 5 x floor3, 5 x floor4, 2 x plain wall.
Now I have a question, how much would you pay for all that?

I like smooth surfaces. 25 pounds sounds okay to me being aussie its about on par with what GW charge for a building.

£25 is about the same as GW prices, I'm hoping to be able to drop the prices once I get more information from the various production teams.

Definitely interested, though £25 sounds pretty steep if the buildings are comparable to the GW ones. If it's a bigger kit than those are, I'll definitely consider it.
