In your squads, doing the chainsword tango

Learned this one a long time ago doing drive-by flamers on ork mobs. big footslogging mobs of da boyz can do this well (if your opponent drives into them ).

I see it not so much as a thing to try to do, but something to keep in mind so if you do see the signs aligning in a particular fashion you will recognize what can be done

Remember that in 5th edition it was actually quite hard to just wreck a vehicle, usually you made it explode and the guys inside would just be in the crater. now with hull points its a lot easier to glance a vehicle enough to wreck it and force the guys inside to try and disembark and fail.

Base contact with any point of the hull would also include the top of the Vehicle. A rhino is 4.5" long and 3" wide. That means there is a center point 2.5" long and 1" wide that enemy models can't end an assault within an inch of. That's plenty of room to save 2 models under a perfect encirclement, and maybe 3 or 4 if the encirclement isn't perfect.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.
