The orkz aren't an army that you can do 'cheaply', sure there are some ways around it but be prepared to make your wallet cry

First off , it's "orks" with a k. Space orks don't use c's.
Second, if you know how, or are willing to give it a shot, try going Mekanized and making vehicles from scratch. It's easy with orks, because it's supposed to look sh*tty. Trukk and buggie hordes are cool, and don't take too many boyz. The vehicles are easy to make. Battlewagon brigade needs less vehicles, but they will be harder to make from scratch.

I forgot get some fantasy orks and there nob equivalents i saw some one convert the fantasy nobs into mega armor with few modifications and you can use the spear bits from the fantasy boyz to make weird boy staves
what ya save in meganobs will be worth it.

another tip for ya is at this place i go to her in Florida over by hobby town theirs a place called michels they have some generic models i like to go and take a look got a plane there for 20$ that works as my dakka jet but i know they had half tracks that could work as looted wagons of trukks and some other tanks aswell and jeeps could maybe work as buggy's tho ive only done the plane so far. also check toy stores for any little cannon looking bits i got a old transformer from goodwill once and i took the canon off him and made a grot turret fireing a zapp canon with it. i also use any extra big guns as grot artillery i have 4 so far 2 ion canons from my tau a killa canon and a lobba made from assorted wheel bits. i really need to get a camera all of it looks better then it sounds.

Don't tell people how to do things, tell them what to do and let them surprise you with their results.

Shouldn't this be in the WHFB section? And as such, you're not going to have ANY goblins? :p Unless you mean Orks, of course.

In that case, Congrats on choosing the CORRECT army!! I've never had so much fun in this game as when I had my old Ork army. It was worth selling it, if only to get my friend into the game, but I missed them so much I had to start a second Ork army.

Orkz iz da biggest an' da best! We iz made ta fight an' win!

you want a starting army - this is what I would recommend.

11 choppa boys, 1 with big shoota, 1 nob with power claw (13 models total)
11 shoota boys, 1 with big shoota, 1 nob with power claw (13 models total)
11 shoota boys, 1 with big shoota, 1 nob with power claw (13 models total)
8 lootas
8 burnas
3 warbikers (nob has a power claw
1 big mek with boss pole

744 points total - perhaps add a boss pole to one of the nobs, or eavy armour

Kits needed - 4 boxes of boys 4*£18, one small box of boys £6, 2 lootas and burnas boxes £15.50, 1 bikers box £24 1 pack 40mm bases £3 - £136 for 59 models

make up the lootas and burnas using the legs from the boys boxes, call a mek from the lootas and burnas a big mek (add extra stuff to him as required and mount him on a 40mm base)

You can replace 2 boxes of boys and the bikes with the battleforce, that will cost a little more but you will get a trukk.

You could also search Ebay for the Assault on Black Reach models - the warboss and the deffcoptas are useful, but the list above was made in a challenge to come up with a playable 750 point starter army as cheaply as possible based on list prices.

Im pretty sure the boyz boxes doesnt leave you with any spare legs. You get spares of everything else though.

you make up the burnas INSTEAD of the boys as the legs are the limiting factor.

Loot things and burn things. Seriously, if you got the Codex, look up pages 43, 45 and 98-99. It'll all be explained there.

chill? Again, its all in the codex... Why do you ask us what things can do, when you can just goto the page in the codex and read what they do yourself?

But given your posting record, i am not surprised. Seem to want us to do everything for you..

I dont need to chill, but it is better if you're able to help yourself.

Maybe he means "Chill" like "Okay, that's pretty chill, as in cool, and i will deffinately look into doing so." I dunno.

And of course you have things to make things from scratch! Got cardboard? Got plastic pens? Got some disposable bottles and cups? Got a few corks? Then you can scratch build all sorts of things. It won't be as good as if you did it with plasticard and modeling putty, but if you put some time into it, it'll be good.
