Great stuff! The creepy old man and the scaly are awesome. The crypt horror head is surprisingly similar to the original scaly which was a favorite model of mine back in the day. I also appreciate all the little fun details like the asymmetrical mutated legs.

I'm back to work on the gang. I've lost a number of the photos I had, but I've rehosted what I could in Dakka Gallery and added them back in a previous post entry on page 1.

Anyway, here is some of the newer stuff.

Cool stuff here

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

I got a few more scavvies painted:

'

And last but not least - plague zombies!

I have another 6 zombies to build, but not sure if I want to get everything painted before building more. I don't plan on zombie spamming with my Scavvies, so any extra would be for special scenarios and stuff.

Here is my friends Goliaths I did a few quick conversions to and batch painted over a weekend. Just went with the classic Goliath scheme, although a little more rusted out on the metal parts and bases. Still have the leader and second Heavy to do for these guys.

And a few more Scavvies done as well:

And lastly a Hired Gun. Love this model, so didn't change anything aside from the base.

An also painted my Scaly. Not super happy with how his skin came out. I was wanting something a little between elephant skin and alligator skin, but used a new wash from Secret Weapon for the first time, and it change the color way more than I expected, even after being watered down. Basically everything is darker than I wanted. Not sure if I want to go back a repaint all the skin at this point. Maybe I can get away with just going back over the face again...

All that is left currently is the Scavvy King, although I also have plans for some ghouls, another Scaly with a harpoon gun and maybe another scavvy or two.

I've gone back to rework a few models I had built previously, but wasn't overly happy with. At this point I'm edging over what would be a reasonable amount of gang members for a single gang, but I figure some of these can fill in as NPCs for campaign scenarios or fill in for dead gangers or whatever. I'm really making an effort to paint everything I build, so they went under the knife.

Scavvy Wyrd

And here is a horribly mutated Scavvy. Had been primed before, and tried stripping the paint before reworking him, but that primer was stubborn.

And speaking of painting everything I build, I have an old mercenary gang that I ran as an Orlock gang when I first got back into Necromunda about 5 years ago. I never painted the gang, so I decided I would update them as well. Previously this guy had SM scout legs, and I wanted to make him a little more ragtag. Trying to find good heads for the rest of the bunch, so not sure how long until the rest of these guys will be shown.

And last but not least, a teaser for my next project. I've been thinking about this force for awhile, but finally decided to start hacking them up.

Those zombies have to be some of the best conversions I have seen around, love the flesh tone as well not the usual rotting or pale corpse tone great stuff.

Did you use a mix of the plague cart and zombie sprue for these by the way ?

Vostroyans with heads removed that's costly but exciting never the less
