The centre of a massive brood chamber, heaving and pulsating.
Improvements in hydrogen fuel technology. The only waste product from hydrogen reactors is water, so it's clean and could potentially power itself.
Also the ability to mount absurdly large weapons on people's arms and keep them stable and mobile, whilst still able to deliver punishing firepower, Black Rock Shooter style.
Squigsquasher, resident ban magnet, White Knight, and general fethwit.

Doesn't that rather give the guy with prosthetics a huge advantage in the labour market, simply down to the fact he had enough money to get a new arm? And what about the people who wouldn't get bionics for personal reasons?

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.
I'd have to vouch for FTL technology and better space-faring technology, more efficient cars running on Hydrogen, better renewable energy sources etc etc.

I would really like to see replacement eyes and ears, that actually IMPROVE perception. Technology is quickly approaching the point where our sensory organs won't be able to effectively interpret information, and improved organs will be necessary.
I'd like to see things like google glass become commonplace. There may come a point where monitors are unnecessary (or redundant), as much as I shudder to imagine it.
Prosthetics are more advanced than they've ever been in history, but they still have a way to go. I can imagine in the near future, we'll have prosthetics that pick up brain waves and move accordingly.
Artificial intelligence is nice, although I really only have an interest in it for sexual reasons. With my limited scope of imagination, a little box that moaned and called me Oniichan would be perfectly satisfactory.

Implications are......

Also, +1 to the wishes for economical, productive, sustainable nuclear fusion energy in the near future. That's get humanity one big step towards space travel beyond the moon.
