In total I got a Leman Russ demolisher kit, the Imperial Infantryman's handbook (in the mail), Crusade of fire, 300 USD, a book on American generals, Black Ops 2 and Assassin's Creed 3. And, through getting a thousand dollars for my trip to Adepticon, two plane tickets from my aunt.

It was an excellent year.

Merry Christmas!

Somewhere in the steamy jungles of the south...

I got: various candies, 4 Lego collectible minifigs, a new paintbrush, a powerful headlamp for night hikes/caving, shower gel, a Ralph Lauren polo sweater, $60 in Old Navy gift certificates, a bunch of Edward Gorey "Ghastlycrumb Tinies" buttons, an Arcade Fire t-shirt, a Joy Division poster, a new Moleskine journal, homemade caramels, 3 CDs of a really cool band called "Wild Nothings", a new t-shirt, Smartwool socks, aaaand...

...A 1990 Plymouth Sundance with only 40k miles on it!

Looking forward to getting behind the wheel of this thing. Now I don't have to borrow my parents' minivan/work van when I need to get around.

Well we got the first snowfall on Christmas day since 1987 which I have to say was/is extremely pleasant!

For more material things I received a memory foam pillow, a new Canon Powershot camera (yay my pictures of painted models can start sucking less!), a collection of various candies (including whiskey flavored chocolates), Two anime series I really like on DVD (Tenchi Universe and Le Chevalier D'Eon), the Red Wall Abbey cookbook and a book of WW2 Military Slang as a gag gift.

Oh and Good Will Hunting on DVD, adding to the dark and powerful creature that is my DVD collection.

Excellent year all around, and my family really enjoyed their gifts as well. My father in particular is quite enamored with his USB foam missile launcher turret.

I almost always agree with Albatross, I can't see why anyone wouldn't.

Okay, so the male version of "Cougar" is now officially "Albatross".
