Also, Android users are generally less likely to pay for their apps, or content on them. Apple users are used to bleeding money through their device, so are
GW's preferred customer.
It really is only a matter of time before someone comes up with a converter for iBooks files as they currently exist. Even if Apple changes the format going forward it would still allow conversion of any existing iBooks already in the marketplace.
I do agree with your last comments, though. The apple community is one of the few where perfectly good and functional devices are pretty much tossed aside to spend hundreds on its next generation replacement that only has very minor enhancements and improvements over its current version. I am sure if
GW could come up with some way to convince their players to dump their current army and buy a completely new one when their army codex was updated they would be thrilled.
