Why play Kill teams, when you can play Killzone instead? Much more like the 4th edition kill teams with individuals instead of squads.

....the PS3 game?

Nope.

40k Killzone is a much better version of Kill-Teams. You buy individual models from your codex who all operate as their own unit. Models can have any equipment allowed by their unit entry and they can take skills. Missions are all story driven commando raid style games. This is the true spiritual successor to the old kill teams!

The Killzone fan rules are definitley better than these rules for the GW event. As they actually are about a personalized squad doing special forces stuff. The one in the OP is sort of a weird hybrid of Kill Teams and 40k in 40 minutes. Also check out In the Emperor's Name: http://iten-game.org/

So how does this apply to Tyranids? For Synapse I mean. Does this mean you have to Take Warriors or Zoanthropes for Synapse Coverage?

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

20 Hormagaunts with Ag/Tox. 20 IB checks every turn, but benefit from rage on those that fail. Alternatively, take 17 with just toxin sacs and a zoanthrope to keep them in line. Save warp blast/ warp lance to snipe characters with psychic awesomeness.

Been out of the game for awhile, trying to find time to get back into it.
