Wait, hold on... what? Since when does SkyFire make you BS1 to ground? That makes no sense at all, especially on a Dreadnought. The quadgun is certainly not BS1 to ground.

Since the rules for Skyfire, on P. 42, say you can only snap shot at ground targets if you have this rule (Unless you also have Interceptor).

So basically since 6th ed came out.

The only reason the Quadgun is not BS1 to ground targets is because it also has the interceptor rule.

Ah, so since The Contemptor gains both while stationary it is not BS1 to ground. Ok, crisis averted.

Is IA op... not any more so than a wide variety of units found in GW 40k codices. Balance in 40k is a poor joke, so FW can hardly make it worse on the whole.

Armies:
Primary: Black Templars Crimson Fists Orks
Allied: Sisters of Battle Imperial Guard

Most of the time the IA stuff is pretty well balanced but there are definitely a few outliers that are not well balanced(to good or to bad).

I know some places don't allow IA stuff because it does give some armies a lot of options while others get next to nothing.

Blood for the bloo... wait no, I meant for Sanguinius!

Given that 70% of the 40k player base is some form of Imperials, it isn't all that crazy that most of the FW stuff is aimed at the people who would want to buy it.
