Par for the course for them - more recently they applied for (not sure if it was granted) a patent for their World Works Terra Clips things...which are nothing more than overpriced panel clips which have been in use since the 1950s.

I was not aware. I am glad that I am now informed about the way they prefer to do business.

I think GW has a patent on their method of incorporating skulls and eagles on to everything in sight.

Count the skulls was always one of my favorite games. Maybe GW artists receive a bonus based on the number of skulls in an image.

Probably a quota based pay scale. Bonuses only kick if in you manage to get a skull on an eagle or on another skull.

@ sean and Weeble and others.

Thank you for the information given. I knew it was hard to patent core mechanics to a game system.

Like I have said before. There are enough professionals here in various aspects of life giving out prudent information coming from their prospective fields.

And I do listen.

Adam's Motto: Paint, Create, Play, but above all, have fun. -and for something silly below-

"We are the Ultramodrines, And We Shall Fear No Trolls. bear this USR with pride".

Also, how does one apply to be a member of the Ultramodrines? Are harsh trials involved, ones that would test my faith as a wargamer and resolve as a geek?

You must recite every rule of Dakka Dakka. BACKWARDS.
