Love the look of your 'Crons. Great old metal look and the head is great as a dirty white. The reposing of every model seems worth it as they have a better astectic than the average space egyptian robot zombie. Good work!

Its not helping me play games any quicker but the legs needed reposing and I would advise any necron player to do the same. Hopefully it should look good en masse, well when I get some more done.

Love the canopy very cool. What the flattened fence made from? Looks like one of those over mesh things for baking trays...

Cheers fella - the fence is sprue posts and expanded steel mesh cut to roughly model height, I put some thin steel wire through its mid point to make it more errr fencey? Not 100% sure where I got the mesh from, I had to order it thats why I have like 2 metres of the stuff. Its fairly lethal to cut.

The canopy idea is FANTASTIC. It really gets the old school sci-fi feel across. What did you use to make it? Or did I miss it in your post? I may just have to steal that idea for my own metal men...

Thanks! tbh I cant really remember where they came from, they were in my bits box from an old project a few years ago (some victorian sci fi alien thingy). I think they may have come from some container my GF had, so I bought a load of them.

The appearance of texture on the surface of the metal is awesome, really takes away the slightly cartoony look of the original models. The extra height looks tremendous too now they're painted!
