Yeah I'm puzzled with this also...But since BL broke the myths about primarchs and heresy era - I'm sure they will do that with the missing legions and struck a killing blow to the 30k...

ADB: I showed the Wolves revealing the key weakness at the heart of the World Eaters; showing Angron that his Legion was broken and worthless compared to the others; that he was the one primarch who couldn't trust his own warriors, and that they didn't care if he lived or died; showing that loyalty to brothers and sons is the heart of success for the Legiones Astartes, to the point even Lorgar makes a big deal out of saying the World Eaters and their primarch were massively outclassed by Russ, and Angron was too stupid to see the lesson Russ had sacrificed time, sweat, and blood, to teach. We're talking about a battle the Wolves won, by isolating the enemy general through pack tactics, and threatening to kill him, without a hope of defending himself. It was a balance, 50/50 - Angron overpowered Russ, and the Wolves were losing ground to the World Eaters; but Russ and his warriors had Angron by the balls, and barely broke a sweat. They won, no question. Lorgar even says: "The Wolves won, meathead."

Dorn won’t help you either. He’s too busy being the Emperor’s groundskeeper, hiding behind the palace walls. The Wolf is too busy cutting off heads as our father’s executioner, while the Lion holds on to his secrets, and has no special fondness for you. Who else will come? Not Ferrus, certainly. Nor Corax either. Even as we speak, I suspect he flees for Deliverance. Sanguinius?’ Curze laughed cruelly. ‘The angel is more cursed than I. The Khan? He does not wish to be found. So who is left? No one, Vulkan. None of them will come. You are simply not that important. You are alone.’ Konrad Curze to Vulkan

People will always want to know. Personally I don't give a rat's ass about the missing legions. You can just as well toss a coin. Head they are fluffed out, tails they ain't.

I have questions like the true nature of the Necrons, as they should in my mind hate all forms of life. They are soulless Terminators, not someone Space Marines should conveniently have as allies.

Also I would like to know what the hell the remaining living Primarches are doing, if just for knowing. Right now only Magnus, Angron, Mortarion and maybe Fulgrim are heard from. The rest are various forms of dead or lazy bums.

If you have nothing nice to say then say frakking nothing.

My burning desire has always been to know how the Sol system shaped up during the age of strife. Here, at the heart of the human empire in the dark age of technology, suddenly everything goes haywire and all that advanced tech is turned against the same people.

This is especially true of terra both during and before the unification wars, where the emperor is said to lead millions of men into battle (which is pretty epic) and I'd love to see fleshed out.

According to what I read some time ago in the lexicanum, the 2 missing primarchs and their legions are an excuse for the players. 9 legions went traitor, 9 legions loyalists, and 2 are missing. Let's say one remained loyal, the other traitor. The player can create a custom chapter without any relation to the known ones by saying it's related to one of the missing ones.

Of course it's always great when you see little references to their fate. Always playing with our hopes, they are

I would love to know more about Cypher and his real motives.

What the heck are the Tyranids running away from?!

MOAR about the Star Child and the possible rebirth of the EMPRAH!

The Emperor lived for thousands of years influating mankind, I would love to read more about his possible feats while he was still considered an "average" human.

I think it would be better to know more about the details of certain things. Nothing that would dramatically change the setting, such as finding out about the 2 legions.

Someone above (apologies for forgetting their name) talked about what goes on in the Imperial Navy ships. I think that's a good example. It's extra detail on stuff that we don't know that much about and can really add more interesting fluff to the setting. I mean, the imperial navy is really unrepresented in the fluff. Sure, every now and then you get the odd mention of a big space battle, but never really anything to feed off.

I understand this game is table top and not in space, but well, the setting pretty much is space, so I think that more fluff on every race's navy would be pretty cool. I think orks we can pretty much imagine what goes on though

I wish GW hadn't stopped supporting Battlefleet Gothic. It is one of the few resources for fluff on the different factions' ships. I imagine there would be more BL novels if they hadn't dropped it.

Part of me thinks that The Emperor DID see the Horus Heresy coming, but he just realized he couldn't stop it in time. Maybe he thought that it was necessary to teach humanity a lesson?

I think the whole point is that even with his Godlike power, the Emperor was still formed from human beings, so he is subject to making some human mistakes (like trusting the son you showered with praise and glory for decades)

This one's been covered a few times. Cypher believes that should he manage to get into the presence of the Emperor with the Lion Sword the Fallen will be forgiven.

Absolutely buy it from normal people except this guy was a mega genius who could see into the future. The error's in judgement would be avoidable by a halfway skilled diplomat nevermind the most intelligent and powerful being in the galaxy. In essence I actually enjoy the idea of the ultimate human still being ultimately flawed but I want it in compelling ways like not being willing to kill his favorite son. Not the dozens of silly stuff he did leading up to that.

Well two things about this:

-he thought about them as grown men who needed no lessons what-so-ever ( big mistake ).
-as much as wise, mega genius, awesome guy that ever lived he was terrible father ( just look how he handle Lorgar and Angron, a wise and carrying father wouldn't do that ).

To me it looks like he was scientist and he treated Primarchs and Astartes like something he created in the lab ( except Horus because he raised him himself ), that would explain how hew handle them - like he didn't care at all ( he overlooked Angron's honor, punched Russ in the face when he didn't listen to him, destroyed entire city that Lorgar build in his name just because he didn't want to be worshiped ). And I think that he saw his mistake to late, prior to Battle of Terra when everything was irreversible. He may see Heresy coming but he probably won't believe it, same like every other father he wouldn't believe that his most favorite son would betray him. The rest is history, until HH get there we will never know how much he regret his actions.

The universe has many horrors yet to throw at us. This is not the end of our struggle. This is just the beginning of our crusade to save Humanity. Be faithful! Be strong! Be vigilant!

Not exactly - Emperor is not God Emperor of Dune with his Golden Path. Read "Outcast Dead" - there he "said" to astropat protagonist that foresight brings forth self-fulfilling prophesies, ones which can't be avoided or changed ,and he dared no more to foresee future - to be able to change it.

Motto which fits man to defy Gods of Chaos - "There is no Fate but what we make for ourselves".

A full clarification on what the Vitae Womb is, how it works and what are the side effects of its use (if any). The Adeptus Biologis forbid its use but the High Lords of Terra allow Krieg to use it.

Before anyone says "It -is- cloning"... No. No. No. It is never stated as being cloning, it's left to the imagination, which is probably for the best, but I would love to know whether it -is- cloning, perhaps accelerated gestation cycle, vat grown humans? Might be two dozen other options or variations on those ones, but I'd be intrigued to know.

That's interesting, because older background simply had it that the Ruinous Powers were blocking the Emperors foresight. Also seems to violate the whole "the future is never certain" thing that 40K keeps on going for.

I always saw it as similar to the Daemonculaba. Female servitors impregnated with many, many embryos, then they birth them en mas.

My opinions aside, what I'd like to see are quite minor;
Who's going to succeed Calgar as Chapter Master?
Is Guilliman really healing?
Who's the Sanguinor?
What exactly is the Hive Mind? I've always seen it as a Warp consciousness from another galaxy, moving towards us via the collective psych of the Tyranid fleets.
