After the Siege of Terra, there's the 10-year (?) scouring where Abbaddon and his forces are pushed into the Eye of Terror. Then there's the implementation of the Adeptus Astartes and resulting Second Founding, which splits the Legions into smaller chapters. Dorn, et al nearly come to blows with the Ultra Marines over this one.

Not sure how far into these story archs they'll go.

Hopefully far enough so they have a basis to advance the present timeline, and hopefully soon.
