This. There needs to be a very easy way to differentiate them as they have very different rules (Vows, Righteous Zeal, and so on).

Also i have no problem with it as long as you tell me before the game the guys with the jump packs use BA rules as does (insert HQ model here.)

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

I think making them visually different (with a different paint job, not WYSIWYG) is not only a nice way to be nice to any of your opponents so they don't need to be reminded all the time or forget to remember they aren't just BT marines (no, the "Death Company' is the other set of guys in Black Templars Heraldry!"), it's a good opportunity to model something truly unique to your force than just a bunch of Blood Angels walking alongside your BT.
Most other Black Templars players will have a cow over "sullying" their chosen Chapter with counts-as models, but really, when don't they get over-defensive of the Black Templars at every opportunity?

Wouldnt be Black Templars without the ZEAL 
Honestly, BT players have been doing this for a while, usually with a Vanilla attachment and a Stormtalon. If I went that route I would use IF for obvious reasons but whatever floats your boat. Just never use DA. Dirty, dirty heretics and deviants.
