It does have some benefits (not many but a couple). For example, if you were playing against an IG player who brought Hydra Flak Tank (of which the main gun only has skyfire), hey, you no longer are a skimmer and the hydra has to snap shot its main gun to hit you now.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. You're right, I'd forgotten about that. Funny thing, that wasn't a benefit in 5e, but now it is.

Looks like 6e really is the edition of giving Tau overpowered rules breaks. Ha.
