Because we all know that a flashy graphical interface is vastly more important than actual content. So much so that I have to leave a completely provocative comment about it.

Well, to be honest... the screenshots generally show how savvy the developer is.
Screenshots like that make me think they know next to nothing about iOS development, as it's actually harder to make the app look that bad than to just use the decent out-of-the-box ui controls.
And, typing in zip codes? There's this geolocation feature on phones you might want to look into...

Anyways, neither here nor there. I'm sure once they get a developer on board it'll get a UI upgrade.

spot on, the functionality in the app is the key, the UI will change a lot when the dedicated app developer gets to work on it.
