I still say your logic is screwed up. You say he is incompetent, but folks are scared of what he would accomplish vice what the very competent Obama will accomplish.

And again, the reasons someone takes out a head of state are either nutter, which the VP has no affect on, or to hurt the capability of the govt. Unless you suspect the VP would be much MORE capable, the VP choice is not a deterent.
