Sorry, thought several people above posted it and compared it to other competitive lists. Also another reason why I said it was a "fluff" list.

24 TL S6 shots were from the 2 flyers alone. Flyers. Meaning templates do nothing. And the other 36 TL S6 come from 3 Dakkafexes. That's 60 S6 shots all shooting at those Devasators. You're 25 PCs are now 13 PC. Even if none of them scatter, you're only killing 3 Dakkafexes and ignoring 2 Flyrants and 2 Tervigons that will overwhelm whatever suvives. Doom can die the same turn he lands, he simply needs to land in a good spot near the 12 squads you have. It's hard not to find a good spot to drop when I can't mishap and I can spawn Doom 6" from the pod. Effectively having a 12" threat range from a drop site.

Seems like you are only just slightly assuming ideal circumstances there. If you have no board presence turn one he's either going to play target practice with what you do have or spread out to cushion his devs from your deepstrikers. You've got to be able to put the pod on the table first and with as many boots as he'll have on the ground he can certainly make sure that a good chunk of those pods end up in gakky locations.
