where did you find that? it looks incredible. Only nitpick I have is the extended breastplate. he won't be able to bend forward that well.
That's really the principle reason none of the "legacy" armors have ever appealed to me.

Mk VII is the only one that appears "practical". In addition to the rigid single piece chestplate, the Mk IV has an extension that covers the wrist too, preventing any outward range of motion for the hand.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

I personally prefer the exaggerated proportions. Despite being anatomically impossible, it conveys the greatest feeling of power and authority that Space Marines possess. I am unconcerned with the realism or the anatomy of it. After all, if those things were of any importance to me I would hardly be able to stomach the hilarity of the geneseed, the various extra organs and so on...

The power of the imagery for me takes precedent.

Not sure I can post works that don't belong to me, but there is a good image I have in mind: a quick search on Bing or Google for "Dawn of War II" will turn up a great image of a Blood Raven looking down on the viewer while holding a thunder hammer
