Nob bikers are good even if it isnt a speed list. I just went through a tourny with Tau broadside allies, 60 boyz, 10 lootas, and a 5man nobbiker + warboss missile (1750), only reason i lost was because the first game my dice effin hated me (i killed 1 unit from a necron army till the last minute when i wiped his Deathmarks out before my boss died, so a total of 6 in a 5turn game....fu dice) so i didnt get squat for points that game. (Still got 4th though)
The other two games (its a friendly tourny as an excuse to get us all together really) i wrecked face. Not because of awesome dice, but because of those nobbikers. MVP by far. Broadsides were basically the attentiongrabbers, and while they got shot at/died my bikers were getting in position and began to ravage things.
Unless i want to run MANz just to be different, or im playing a joke list, im always taking a bikernob missile. Too effing strong.

I'd have to agree leadership on normal bikers suck. Only reason it isnt THAT big of an issue on nobbikers is because theyre harder to force a leadership for one thing, but they also tend to have a Ld9 boss hanging around too which helps a lot. That boss, unless you have 2 of them, should never be with regular bikers if the nobs are live.
Take out 1-2 bikes, leadership time. Thats a feat to cause at once against nobbikers, easy as crap against normal bikers.
