I'm trying to make it black as these models-
http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?314620-Khador-Black-Dragons
Is this the Thamar black? Or a different type of black, unless this guy did something to this.

The metalic indicate to me that he's using GW paint. The P3 equivalent is Thamar Black.

Alright, plain easy enough.
Just getting a headache from just trying to get into Warmachine one by one, only way to cure it is for me to get my arse on that chair, and play a damn good game with some fully painted models.
At least sunday it is I go to my shop and look at some Batreps, and the torture for me to watch them and not having an army yet...

lol, I feel you. But it could be worse. It's been months since I've had a warmahordes game because my friends are lazy, I'm about 45min - 1hour drive with good traffic to the nearest Warmahorde community and I'm busy on those days when it's hosted. All my models are waiting impatiently for a game. The good thing about this is when they go a long time without a game, they go into a blood rage and massacre the first army they come out on.

I've just painted my first two Warmachine models (after having some for over 4 years, I'm terrible I know).
I've just done a quite nice muted green/silver design for my Menoth... I wanted something different than the standard.
I done a choir member and lightjack in just over an hour. Jacks are incredibly easy to paint to a table top standard - Metallic on the majority of it then plates in your colour scheme, then have fun picking out the rest

One last question before this thread is wrapped up.
To apply a wash, do I use, for example, the armor wash-
http://privateerpress.com/content/armor-wash
Put the paint in the cup, and add water into the cup, is that how you wash the models or....?
