If you're ever after an alternative to that there are some good ones out there. I like Galeforce Nine's one because it's about the same price as the local GW version, and the same stuff, but has about twice the amount to it and comes with the two parts seperated in plastic tubes. Shipping together as GW do isn't such a great idea.
An issue I have with it though is the blue one tends to stick to the bottom of the tube at times and becomes annoying to get out.

Selleys pack of 7 2mg glue containers per pack Australian dollar $2.00 i use this on everything from failcast to greenstuff modded plastics, and metal. only thing is it dries "milky" on clear plastic's. used to use "plastic glue" but it got me too "High", (dizzy). so i used SG ever since. can find it anywhere from crazy clarkes to overflow to discount variety stores or even super market (mainly you get x2 per/pack at $3.50+, so go to crazy clarkes <or similar> and get an xtra 5 free packets, at a reduced price of $1.50)

I heard GW has a problem with their stuff freezing during delivery, same with the paints, so some glue is good and some not so good,
the guy that manages the GW I go to is a good guy tho, so if you have any problems he will replace it for you

Oh and i have a thread on GS as well check it out for more details. AU customers will find 1kg of Kneadatite (greenstuffs actual name) in blue for $71 there is a stark contrast in price if bought 20g packs of GW's GS. likely a few hundred dollars savings well i have 2-3 links to websites selling it. plus x2 are easily bought from art/sculpting supply stores EDIT: also i have a thread on Plasticard

One is Testor's plastic cement. I use it when there's a good connection as I like how it welds the pieces together. Things like torso halves and guns on the Predator sponsons. The weld in the join helps to cover and fill the seam.
I've tried several different super glues. Cheapo stuff from the bargain hardware store. 1 out of 3 batches was good.
This is what I use now:
It's sold to many hobby shops as they can put their name on it. All the bottles look the same. There are many different types, super thin, thin, etc. This is the type I use as it's thick enough to fill gaps and stay where you want it, but thin enough that it will still wick into places and dries quickly with a very solid hold. It's also the cheapest I've found. I've used Loc-Tite gel with a special applicator bottle. It's really just hollow with a tiny squeeze tube inside. This you get much much more for the same cost, and it's a better glue. I won't use anything else. I'm just glad one of my small local shops carries it so they get the support.
Here's an Amazon Link: http://www.amazon.com/Bob-Smith-108-Insta-Cure-Filling/dp/B0000DD1QQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1364255051&sr=8-4&keywords=Insta-Cure+%2B
Here's the site for the manufacturer that lists their other adhesives: http://bsi-inc.com
I haven't used any of the other types. They're sold in various sized bottles too. Dirt cheap online (cheaper even than my hobby store)!
I just wish it had a smaller applicator but that's just being nit picky. It's the only applicator I've had that the glue easily wipes off of with bit of paper towel and stays very clean. Best glue there is.
That's the glue I use as well. It only take 10 sec to set and it holds metal just as well as plastic.

I've been using the GW thin plastic glue with no issues. It melts the plastic and bonds really well. I'll be ordering some contaca though.

I like this stuff called Model Master. Liquid cement that melts your plastics together basically. Breaks easy enough for re-dos, works well on all small things ive tried it on that come on basic sprues.
Does not work on i think its called finecast(njal, logan, most characters)?
Loctite is the shiznat though! never had a problem with that stuff on ANYTHING let alone lil plastic models!

I can also recommend Humbrol stuff for stickyness. You would have a hard time (I've found near impossible) trying to seperate pieces if you need to though. Im currently going through some primed DE Warriors trying to remove them from the bases to work on the bases first...... I've managed some but I might have to take a knife to their feet.

My GW plastic glue is good for sticking plastic to plastic.
I mean that it only works on plastic, not finecast, and only when I've cleaned the paint off the bits I want to stick.
Otherwise, I use some sort of gap filler that comes in a green bottle.
Or generic superglue.

Im currently going through some primed DE Warriors trying to remove them from the bases to work on the bases first...... I've managed some but I might have to take a knife to their feet. Use superglue for that. Superglue simply sticks the components, and is weak to uneven pressure. This is why you can 'snap' parts off with a clean break on the join. For priming and painting, but being able to separate the base later, use small applications of superglue, and they'll snap right off. Poly cement us a different beast. It actually melts both contact points, to create a fused bond of plastic, as if it were one peice of plastic rather than two. This is why parts glued with a good poly cement simply will not snap apart. Unless it's GW poly cement, and that's because GW's stuff is terribly inconsistent. You'll get one batch that sticks like gak to a blanket, and another batch that sticks like water.

Testor's Plastic Cement for plastic models, as I generally don't pull apart models after assembly. I magnetize for alternate load outs.
I use Kwik-Fix Superglue pens for my resin, metal and magnets. It's cheap and I haven't had problems with it. And Simple Green will break it down, which I consider a plus.
When I first started I got a GW starter kit from my girlfriend with paints, glues and snips. The glues were atrocious. I still use those snips, funny enough, as I haven't found another pair I like better yet. I basically used up all the provided glue for basing since it wouldn't hold models together.
Have also talked with a dude who assembled an entire army using GW glue, which promptly fell apart over the next two weeks. The store had received a recalled batch. From the looks of it, that seems pretty common

Plastic glue is slower to dry and set, but provides a stronger bond between two plastic parts by welding and fusing the pieces. Like many things, the right glue needs to be used for the right job. I use both plastic cement and superglue, depending on what I'm gluing and the result I want. Mostly I use plastic cement for torsos and gun halves as I've stated because with pressure, it fills the gap as it welds the halves. I want them to be one solid piece, and this makes for easier clean up of the seams IMO. If I need something stuck quickly, or am sticking different materials together, superglue of course. If you only want to have one glue, certainly superglue is best. Where my plastic cement sees most usage is in scale models as opposed to Warhammer.

Thats the reason i will NOT use it. When it does hold it does a chemical bond. With the exception of my finecast/metal boss guys, im almost always swapping limbs after gluing them because i put it on wrong or found a better one. If its melted together.
For instance, all of my bikers with Bigchoppas. I am making unique bikes for my Bikernobz since i always run them so might as well make some awesome bikes for them so its obvious which is nobz which is boyz, and when i do that the ones with bigchoppas will never be used again since i will never put it on a regular biker group upgraded nob. So will i shelf them for good? Hell no i am going to pull the bigchoppa off and replace them with normal choppas. Since i used cheap superglue that holds well unless stressed in the right way, it wont fall apart but i can still pull it apart.
