Ive already got the 1st & 2nd edition books of Shockforce (Warengine).

Kinda a bummer about Fanticide. Seems the fantasy only aspect will be knocking it way down on the list of things to get. What I need is a game that can incorporate things from all kinds of settings and timelines. So far Warengine is looking like the best option.

You're pretty much set then. IIRC, there are very few changes between Shockforce 2nd edition and the latest online version. The changes are so few that I continue to use my 2nd ed book while the club uses the online version.

Are you looking for one game to port to different settings, or a game to use in a setting that has many elements. I rarely try to use on game in multiple settings, as generaly different games work best in different setting. If you have need of a fantasy game, Fanticide seems quite good.

On the other hand if you have a catch-all setting, then something like Warengine will likely cover all the bases. Alternatively Goalsystem rules might do well for such a setting. "Blasters and Bulkheads" is a space opera setting ruleset that is pretty flexible, and there are two different goalsystem rules (Delves and Fantasy) that you could mix with Blasters and Bulkheads for more fantasy stuff.

If memory serves correct, you can include some techy stuff via Relics, but the game is only set up for light guns at most.

correct. Options include: hand grenades, chain saws, light sabers, light artillery (a bolt thrower or cannon for example), rifles and Flame Throwers.
