Ok, that's another approach. Perfectly valid and not a bad idea. I would say if you're looking for a horde tarpit the Terminator armoured version would acheive better results, as your save is now twice as good, and realistically you're not going to be getting through a 20+ man unit Fenny or no Fenny.

However, specifically with mine I run them flanking my blob, this stops me from getting charged by any nasty business that might tie the thing up, I also flank it with Grey Hunters to add a bit of hitting power as well as tarpit ability.

I probably would recommend the Storm Shield over the Wolf Claw though if I'm perfectly honest, allows you to eat a bit more of that anti-TEQ stuff, plus without it a Plasma squad will bring you down no problem.

My only problem with Lone Wolves is delivering them. I wish I could drop pod them, or Deep Strike them in termie armor.

They've worked well for me in the past with foot Loganwing though, just walking up on the flanks of the main force and acting as counter-charge and area denial units.

The real advantage of an all melee Lone Wolf is that you should have no problem with running.

I am a Furry that plays with little Toy Soldiers; if you are taking me too seriously I am not the only one with Issues.

In very low points games I think PA lone wolves with MotW are one of the best investments you can have. They're survivable and can tie up an enemy squad for a while, with a good chance of actually running them down if they don't have ATSKNF, fearless or Stubborn. Charge, challenge, if you manage to run down a low LD squad from winning a challenge, the LW will die, but easily made 35pts back. If not, the next turn the LW will put some hurt on the squad in your opponent's phase and likely run them down in that phase.
Even if they're shot at, they tend to soak up a fair amount of damage with 3+ FNP, and soaking up damage in low points games is amazing. All for the low, low price of 35pts.

Star Trek taught me so much. Like, how you should accept people, whether they be black, white, Klingon or even female...

I only use Lone Wolves in foot lists where I don't take Dreadnoughts. They're great for dealing with MCs and things for my Grey Hunters. In those lists, one Elite slot is always taken up with Wolf Guard so at most I'm bringing 2 Lone Wolves and putting them between Grey Hunters. Usually some gribbly will hit a Grey Hunter unit and I'll have a Lone Wolf charge in to deal with it, if I can't screen the MC for my GHs with the Lone Wolf.

Lone Wolves are fun and fluffy, but for some army lists they will just lose out due to the overpopulated Elite slots. As always, you should bring the units that do what you need. Lone Wolves are far from an "auto-include".
