I had already done some shooting to weaken a unit enough that charging would kill them before I decided to WAAAGH. He was just pissed off that the squad was going to die and called it out to try and keep them alive. (It was a pretty important spot.)

But being angry about a rule doesn't mean you should roll off when it's clear.
