All I'm saying is that I've heard people use the Kinect for chat on the 360. It's distorted, noisy, annoying, and is irritating for other players in the game. They should have axed it's ability to be used for chat in games entirely, not make it the default way you can talk to others. I'm cool with people using it as an incredibly expensive version of skype, but in game chat it's always been a major headache.

You really have to have heard a person using it to understand why I hate the idea so much though. Otherwise I will admit it looks like I am sperging out like crazy.

Call it fanboy rage if you'd like, but I just don't see many of the choices Microsoft is making as being good for consoles this generation.

MrMoustaffa is right, the Kinect sucks for chat. My friend uses one because its all he has. You can hear everything going on in his house. Its hard to hear him sometimes if there is alot going on.

Think of it like this. Having Kinect as the default voice chat system is like having speakerphone as the default setting for your phone

Played some Xbox 360 yesterday, was browsing the games library.

Me: "Xbox, BING, Dori-"
Nephew: "PENIS"
Me: "Xbox, BING, Crash"
Nephew: "BANANA".

And so on. Kinect is awesome.

I already own a Turtle Beach headset because I am a fancy man, wealthy beyond your wildest imagination.
