Played my first game of Circle and I got my ass kicked, have little to no idea of how to play this army though.

Other than that I got a few more bases done, and 3 of my heavy wolf kits are finished and then there is a problem. I magnetized the first wolf kit, everything went well, I couldn't get the ghetorix kit to fit with it and so I decided to use my other wolf kit to create just the ghetorix. So now I need to take the wolf from the battle box and break his arms off so I can magnetize him with my left over arms but wait he is super glued together and it will be very difficult to separate. Into the freezer he goes!

So yea other than that I have just been doing school work and playing my Khador until I get my circle done, I need to get my gak together though and actually work on them. As far as the display board goes that has been put on hold until I decide to front the money I need to finish it how I would like. I am considering another possible display board that I think could look really awesome this time being for my orks, and requiring very little purchases. And maybe even some time outside.

looks very good... the Cerberus doggie is a very nice model too... but I have to point out a most *coughs* nefarious *coughs* (lame pun indeed ) detail... the horrid moldline on the face/mask of that model....

It's not. Mold line, he got cut I half and is regenerating, it's just a scar........his mask regenerates too , nice painting nafarious

Yea privateer press is pretty awful with their mold lines, they are pretty nefarious huehuehue, Thank you Theo and Vik I can't wait to get more painted up, my darklands commission got canceled but there is another commission from the same guy for another huge order.

What is it in commissions that makes you choose to accept them? Money or the chance to paint other stuff you wouldn't buy yourself?

Its the fact that I love to paint really, I want the chance to do something awesome with some of these models that I would otherwise never own. The guy in question has tons of kickstarter miniatures he needs painted, and they are ones that I would otherwise not have thought of to paint. But really the money is nice too for a starving college student.

I finally got a new lamp after the one from Bell Howell that was over 20+ years old that I got from a garage sale for 3 dollars died. I feel like that sentence was holy run on batman but it's ok

So here are some pictures of the things I painted today, which was more skinwalkers, oh and base coat on the Stonekeeper.

The one skinwalker on the right is when I discovered that I could first paint the metal and then do the blue ink, and then use my finger to wipe it off I can't believe that I didn't think to do that until the third one in. That metal outline is awful... making these models take 2+ hours and that is no fun.


The next post I have is about some next level Winter Wonder Land scenes. Also please let me know if these pictures are too big for you guys :/ I am trying to figure out what to do, but the higher the quality the better the pictures but then they are HUGE

Here we go, starting with the Halloween Wonder Land, basically I went to this place off Main Street in Grapevine and they had this there in the back room. I figured it would tickle the fancy of some of you fellas so I would snag some pics and post them up.









And now onto the Christmas scene, there were four or five seperate displays, one featuring many lights, and one for the south pole, as well as one featuring a running river through it.

School has been closed now for 6 days and I have been here since Sunday. I figured I wouldn't get much done this week so I left my paints and models at home. I have run out of internet... someone send help.

What can I say, it's been slow here on dakkadakka. I guess everyone is studying, taking exams, or writing papers. Not a lot of stuff in news and rumors either except the new nids have just started to show up.

I know I am dying, at least my exams were easy

So on a blamy 70 degree day here in Texas, before it got cold again. It is now in the 40's brrrr. I got quite a few of the circle models primed.



So yea that is a lot of stuff getting primed and ready to be painted for my Circle, they have become my main focus now and I am getting a lot better at them.

As far as painting the models though, I only got one guy done yesterday. Here he is as a wip, but I did get him almost 90% finished that day. I need to work more on painting though I like to field pretty armies.

So apart from being based, Reinholdt is completely finished being painted, and is matted and ready to be played, or sold and painted again when I buy a new one

As a small side now, be careful when using super glue, and accelerant. While assembling these metal models I managed to get some of both on my thumb and got a pretty annoying blister, that also burned like hell when it first touched. It is all better now but hurt like crazy when it happened.



If anyone knows a better way to glue these metal models together please let me know.

I don't play warmahordes, but that model is so sweet, nice job on the pain job.

Haha thanks theo, he is actually just a 1 point filler for most lists, it is pretty useful though
