Your right about the vibrancy of that model! I splurged and bought a pack of zomblins, jawbats and the necromancer on squig. I plan on using them as fanatics, squigs and a shaman (just happens to be on a squig) respectively. And making squigs and eventually 2 mushroom giants is a very strong possibility!!

Again, I apologize for the delay. I finished the 2 fanatics a week ago, but forgot to post a picture . Ive been finishing up my space wolves so my gobo painting has slowed a lot. But that's okay! My order from Mantic came, so keep an eye out for those in the future!

hey BG why you using square bases for your manglers? they are supposed to be on 60mm rounds I thought? or at least mine was supplied with one and I built 2 more on them erroneously to match! lol.

I thought maybe you were using them as unit fillers to bring some squigy-ness into your block of night goblins. I do that too, kinda neat to model the "squigs go wild" rule! little packs of squigs busting into sides of your NG blocks and people trying to club/net them!

Yours reminded me of that idea!

Excited to see your progress as I'm working on a 5000 point skarnsnik lead army for a special scenario game in 4 weeks... Gotta sculpt up 5 colossal squigs for it hehehehehehe! makes me all inspired and stuff.

moar squigs for the squig-god!

Hey there again sky. I changed alot around since those last pics. I wasnt thrilled with the sq bases or the rope on them so I am only making 1 mangler with the mawbeasts on a 60mm round I dug up. With the square bases I made a base for a giant my girlfriend sculpted for me. I just need to paint it up. All I have left for my spacewolves is a landraider and a rhino to finish painting. Then its all gobbos all the time! Im tired of painting marines all the time lol. Also im planning on cleaning up the thread here and posting only 1 picture of each model I paint not 4 different views. Thanks for the advice again.

Edit: also goodluck with the big squigs! And 5k is sure alot of squigs and gobbos

Here are some pictures of my WIP "Snottie Shoota", my NG doom diver. The fluff I that its a goblin engineers attempt at a dwarf cannon. Due to their fear of light, they opted to use (rather dumbly) warpstone as fuel. This was an idea stolen from skaven. Then as their projectile of choice, they chose the snotties that harvest the warpstome and become deformed. These snotties (some deformations give them wings, others get tentacles, and others multiple heads or worse) flail endlessly in the air and cause impressive amounts of damage.

I hope that fluff makes sense! haha
