Yeah that does seem to be the case ATM, it's really difficult to get hold of allot of things. It looks like FFG really underestimated the likley populatity of the game!

According to one supplier I've talked to restocks of Waves 1 and 2 will be avaliable later in the year.

Why do I have the feeling that I will enter the store hoping to by a tie interceptor for my friend and I will end up with two core boxes, one for him one for me...

also your store will be sold out of interceptors and only have core boxes thus forcing you to do the right thing

My FLGS owner has 3 stores (impressive methinks) and he went to all three of his stores, since X-wing was only catching on at the store I frequent (the savages!), he grabbed the booster packs and brought them to his store. I had to call him and get him to hold one for me. He chuckled and said, "I already have one set aside for you."

My FLGS owner knows me like my buddy's drug dealer knows him >_<

Ah, but if that happens you should be buying 4 core sets, 2 for each of you.

Seriously though, you should be buying 2 core sets anyway...better value for your money with the ships, dice and other things you get in a second core set over buying the parts separately.
