@Hawky - Thanks! Working on a Fortress and some terrain now. Got a 12k per side apoc game in a few weeks.

Very good. You have a very good result here. I really like how you've managed to blend it in with the 40K look.

That turned out quite well! Totally looks like it belongs. I think the weathering is nice; it doesn't look like a rust bucket, just dirty and used. I think some exhaust streaks and oil, etc around the engines and over the wings would really add some cool detail. In support of Hawky's question, I hope to see more of you conversions!

In the group of them, what is the one on the right with the short wings?

12k?! I can't imagine how long that would take. A gloriously long battle! I think at that point, unit trays as in WHFB would be nice. How many servitors do you use to help you maneuver that force?

Thanks again. I definitely plan on putting some more detail work on her. Exhaust streaks and oil is a great idea. The flyer on the right in an Aquila Lander which is pretty much useless so I armed her with twinlinked punisher cannons and nose heavy bolter. I use her as a Vulture which is a much better piece of gear. I usually don't use too many servitors as I don't have much luck with them but I plan on bringing 4 Tech Priests and 8 servitors for my 10k battle

Just saw this thread...pretty cool. You made your own version that clearly has similar features and weapons as the original - so its a great representation in my opinion!

I do think I would have gone with all the same missiles, but thats just me so I would not have to answer the question "are those two different missiles different wargear?".

Thanks for sharing, and can't wait to see you next project.

That looks really cool, that's a conversion I wouldn't have thought of, I would have guessed most people (me included) would probably have used an early jet bomber like the Canberra or B-47

If my 1:76 Peacemaker wasn't such a monster I'd use that as a Marauder, but when its half the scale and still has a wingspan of over 3ft its a bit of a bugger!

@davethepak- two different missiles only because that's all I had in my bits box, however I will be playing them all as hellstrike missiles.

The plane looks more like it would work as a valk not a marauder sorry.

@sing your life. Measures of my conversion are actually a bit bigger than a Marauder and it is armed the same as well so I would have to disagree. I'd like to see some of your work?

Automatically Appended Next Post:
@Ross74H - The B-25H was the only plane I found that had similar tail fins, a gunner right behind the cockpit, and a gunner in the tail. That's why I choose it. I figured I had to do the least amount of modifications. The other plane you named look better suited for a Marauder Bomber not a Marauder Destroyer to me.
