I might have to, I've got a box worth of the idunno 5th or 6th ed saurus I could raid after some stripping

Saurus Space Marine Apothecary.

Unfortunately the wife has reclaimed her sarus (currently stewing in vat of stripper.. err spawning pool), so no awesome saurus marines for me. Thus, I bid you to continue your excellent efforts

This is perhaps one of the most well thought out and uniquely executed armies that I have ever seen! Bravo!

Here are pictures of my other newly finished models. Until I take some better ones.

Those Anvil guns work well.
I've always been hesitant about getting those for SMs as I wasn't sure how they'd scale and if they'd be aesthetically similar enough to a bolter.
Also, what legs are you using on those Tac's?
I'd love to see a return of the GS helmet you made for one of your tacticals earlier on.

Anvil guns are amazing in my opinion and fit well with SM. Although you will also need to buy the right arms if you want to use stocks. Those arms will also work with regular SM bolters, as you can see on the middle tac.
The legs are from anvil as well and are very nice looking. I will take a pic for you so you can see how they look on the rear.
I would love to make another helmet for them, but I do not feel confident enough in my GW skills yet. Same goes for the true scale. I would never make a whole squad or even army of them, but It would be fun to make a new HQ.

The normal tails are cut-offs from the Lizardmen Saurus while the armored ones are made using greenstuff. Trying to minimize exposed areas for more protection

Honestly, no, I had no plans for dreadnoughts. I have 3 metal ones that are way too hard to convert and I simply never use them. If I was to make one, it would be like my dreadKNIGHT.

Long time no updates. Sorry about that. Here, presenting my latest HQ.
Now, a break from the Saurus.

I have seen a LOT of Dragon Marine armies not pulled off well, but these are amazing!! Coteaz in particular is absolutely brilliant. Love em!

Well certainly an interesting idea, well done.

This is pretty remarkable! And the hands clawing up out of the dirt in the recent one are a very nice touch.

(I've kind of been wanting to try converting my skinks into space skinks, and this is definitely fueling that urge)

Personally I'd get a couple of daemon princes as well with them being

so removed from the obvious space marine look you could run them as

space marines, chaos space marines, and even as daemonkin especially

if you wanted to make dragon daemons.

I mean you could straight get a huge wingless dragon model call it your

lord of skulls

And I mean that last guy could be used as a typhus and you could do

zombie skinks. And i mean skinks would make great cultists

At first I shouted "Heresy!".

Then lo, I strayed from the path. Thought of black dragons and squats.

Then I realized that this was the best heresy. The Emprah's favorite heresy.

Who am I kidding? I love the conversions. Nice paint, very smooth.

The centurions and apothecary are stellar.

You win at army creation. This is probably the coolest thing I have seen on dakkadakka.....

Just love looking at this army, great idea and greatly done.

Finally got around to take pictures of Captain Yun'Kai and his Honor Guard that I have used with great success in HoR Kill Team games.

I had wanted to do a Lizardmen Space Marines army myself, though your take is quite intimidating! Excellent work!

I would happily give up my life savings of fives of dollars for this army!
