Yes winning is nice and all, but at the end of the day I enjoy the friendly banter more than winning or losing.

Then I don't get it . It is impossible to prove the wining is exclusive to fun . That playing to win somehow makes the game less fun or that it eliminates "friendly banter" what ever that is.

Winning isn't everything. Sometimes I pick random units just to try them out. Sometimes a build a fluff-list that would stand no chance in a Tournament setting.

As eldar players go , we have 3 people playing eldar right now too . All of the are old eldar player . The army just costs too much to start for new players. I doubt all 3 of your friends were playing eldar in 5th or start of 6th ed as their main or only army . And it was the same for necrons and tau players. People started playing necrons , because their new codex was fun for new players and for old players. The old one was a one dimensional like no army I ever seen .

I am one of the few Eldar players. I started in 5th edition. They were not my first army (which was Tyranids back when being in Synapse gave you EW...I miss those days). One started back in 3rd. The 3rd started in 5th ed as well (if not earlier). Most of the Tau players have been playing Tau since at least 5th edition. And the only Necron players I know started them in 4th/5th edition. AFAIK in my entire group only one person started a new army after a 6th edition codex came out and he plays CSM.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Pag.2, Vector Strike (Pg 43), last sentence. I believe it refers to all Vector Strike hits, not only those agains vehicles (makes sense also fluffy-speaking, perhaps not so much against Jink/Stealth/Shrouded, but still).

The link above is to the most recent version (the 5th-one), but I don't think it really matters because there is no "Magenta" content.
I don't understand the necessity for an "updated" version which does not seem to contain any... update. XD

Thanks for th english, I try...
