Get a tervigon becuase a six wound MC in a 500pt battle is really intimidating.

Wow thanks guys.

I like the idea of the tervigon.

Why take two over one? is it just for more gaunt spam?

when playing against nids, I've never let ravengers anywhere near my units, they always get nuked, on the flip side i suppose that will let the gaunts get closer?

Spamming gaunts and its 2 MC on the table at 500 points! Hardly anyone will be able to deal with that.

Minus Elysian drop bringing 3 flyers at 500 points new rules allowed to do combat drop

Regardless , I would go with a flyin hive tyrant and spamming termagaunts , should be annoying but imma second the tervigon idea

Ah ok, makes far more sense now, thanks Eldercaveman!

There is a downside to it all though, if the tervigon gets killed.

If your willing to convert, Parasite of Mortrex. Take a converted Sky Slasher Swarm with Spine Fists. Run them together with some Termagants and a Tervigon in your troops, and your pretty much good. Crazier still, if your not caring about anything but shenanigans, take the Parasite with a full unit of Sky Slashers with Spine Fists. Deep Strike them and watch the reactions.

Personally I always like running the Parasite with massive gargoyle squads. Wings of death.

Current Campaign: Planetary conquest (where losing army gets 50pts extra next match) vs CSM (now at 600pts Nid vs 750pts CSM/Daemons)

Also, if someone is asking for help on how to use [a unit] effectively, saying for him to put them on the shelf is not a helpful option.
