I've heard that they're too often a suicide unit (which is appropriate, mind you), and pretty much require their
AoF to deal damage. Problematic, considering that the current faith system isn't too great.
But yeah, I should have said "more useful". Most of those units have their uses, they're just not usually good choices in a competetive list.
Repentia eat entire pretty much anything that isn't a high I assault unit. Overwatch and a lack of assault transport options are their real weaknesses. If the Sisters can't get an assault transport making Repentia a 5-20 unit size would work. It'd be more fitting to the fluff for some Orders that way too.

"Not much of an update" is 6th in a nutshell. If the rumors of 6th being a long edition they want to keep around for a while we could easily see expansions or even 6.5 ed codexes that add more to the game.
Frankly,
for the most part, all the 6th ed books are in a rough balance with each other. It's not perfect mind you, but it's better than it's been and despite the lamenting that some of the
CSM players will never stop repeating, the
CSM book isn't in a bad place. Yes, I will agree that some of the internal balance is still bad, but I won't agree that just because some units seem like "must haves" that they're the only useful things in the book.
