you are 100% right on that razorback, i'll go back to it but really want to get guys done for the next bit try and get things to a nice table top then I need to go in add some shading to things and fiddly bits like knives pouches and things. I hope to get the karskin done tonight, and a good start on the intercepter as well. also need to build 2 more guys for that squad as well.
i'll be hppy once the main portion of this is done so I can slow down and finish stuff up right.

still have all the bases to do, names to assign, purity scrolls to fill in, and as i said the fiddly bits. but I am getting there. I also want to get the chapter house? turret kit for the razorback.

Well I had my first game of 40k last night in a very long time. 6th ed is pretty damn awesome I must say.
It was a small game 750 pts, got my but handed to me mostly because my termies deep striked off the board by an inch
my opponet was playing tau, one thing I know now....they suck at close range had my one little group of intercepters almost take out 3 of his squads....

anyways back to painting tonight and this weekend. I want to have another 5 guys done for our remach in 2 weeks

then it should be the escalation league

Small update today, worked on 2 more models
the first tryed a new power sword technic not to sure about it
the second is a wip though I doubt i will spend to much more time on it. its an old metal mini i got via ebay it had paint slathered on it.

I got as much off as I could how ever it still had a bit in the fine detail areas. I also tryed a heavy shade on it and notice that I need to go and clean some of it up
it was getting late and very dark when I finished up last night, freash eyes and the pic showed me the errors
it also has no back pack atm as I am magnatizing them for these guys its in the proccess though.
as always thanks for looking even though not many people coment it helps to know that people are seeing this and it keeps me going!!

The "Thunder" power sword is a cool way to create some more variety among your miniatures. Keep practicing it Simple can be "more" btw. The second one, yeah, you goofed it When you use too much shade bad things happen. Nothing some more thin layers won't solve, tho!

another small update haven't been doing too much hands have hurt alot again recently
but i did get a good model built and my inquisitor painted!!!! I like how he turned out some of the subtle linings are hard to see but in person it looks pretty good defiantly for the 3 foot rule

Igice, love your inquisitor and his colour scheme (red with blue as a spot color is always fantastic ) but his skin looks so yellow? Is it a trick of the light or did you decide to go for a more yellowish color?

trick of the light I think its not that yelow in person. I think its where I too the picture there is a lot of wood around and the lights are yellowish.
picture box will be next on my list of things to build once I get what I need painted done.
