I'm happy to see so many people like the idea. And there are loads of nice looking lists being popped down. I would love to see a tournament with the lists so far. It'd definitely have a different feel to it. Plus we'd all get to see a wider variety of units tried out. A great big thanks to all the contributions so far!
Careful with the 1 dedicated transport of any particular type restriction - I think that's the hardest personally.

Fun challenge! Thinking its got the tacs to sit on the home objectives, bikes turbo boosting forwards for homing beacons and heavy support options providing fire to whatever needs killing. Libby would run with a bike squad. Azrael would sit with a tactical squad in a rhino, giving that lovely 4++, and hopefully clearing an objective in double time.

I think IG could give this a good shot with platoons and squadron shenanigans. Something like this:

I think this could hold its own pretty well. Of course, it falls apart if you count platoon squads as separate, but I assumed the squadron rule would mean similar applied to platoons in this case, with just the whole unit counting.

Yeh the entire platoon counts as 1 choice so you can have up to 2 platoons since you can have two troops choices and as many infantry squads in those platoons as the platoons will allow. They are used as an example in the rules :-p. Guard can definitely benefit from the squadron rule the most! Nice list.

Ah, yeah, I didn't notice the platoons being referenced in the rule. I'd like to try a list like that at some point, although it's actually fairly similar to what I usually play. Spamming is just not fun.
