To Houston, TX, it was generally less than 5 business days after I paid.

I usually get my HoB orders within 2-3 days after I click the "submit order" button.

Hoard O'bits is a fantastic bits store!

But I do have one major problem with them... which is their ridiculous ego.
About 4 months ago I tried ordering the wings from a sphinx and made a mistake with the shipping number.
I tried to contact them and correct the problem, but instead they blocked my computers IP address, which prevented me from accessing their site.
It took me a friends laptop and two months before I could order from them again.

The last thread on Hoard o Bitz went down in flames, and I *really* don't want to re-visit that.

This is all I am going to say on the matter. This will be my first and last post in this thread.

Hoard o Bitz screwed up two of my orders. She took care of the first one after I mentioned it. The next time I complained, she did not take care of it. She IP banned me from her site, and also kept the money I had already sent for another order that was already in process. I never received a refund or the goods that I ordered.

No idea what other peoples' experiences have been. But that was mine.

I prefer bits world to horde o bits. Both have been pretty amenable to fixing problems with orders. But where bits world was phenomenal horde o bits was merely mediocre. Like said window-box/BDG is an awesome seller too. And bits world is cheaper a lot of the time.

I've ordered from HoB at least a half dozen times, am sure I'll order again in the future.
In light of other posts in this thread, I'll mention that I always go through their ebay store, and pay with credit card...
if something were to go wrong, I'd have the ebay resolution process, with Amex willing to go to bat for me if ebay screws me too.

Similar thing happened to me. I had a few good transactions with them and they were great. Then they sent me the wrong thing. I pointed out their mistake and they told me to send it back and they would replace it with the right item. All I had to do was cover the shipping costs. I refused, because I had already paid for the item and it's shipping costs. When I asked them to credit the shipping costs to me, I was banned without a reply or any explanation.

I suggest not using them to avoid any possibility of this happening. I can't buy from them even if I wanted to. All I can say is buy from them at your own risk. There are so many other options available. Though HoB is one of the biggest bits sellers, they are the only one that I have had a problem with.

Ive used them quite often as well, through their Ebay store. Had a problem with one order, they sent me a replacement right part quickly, People with Ebay tend to have a lot more to lose with negative feedback, so most people work harder to correct a problem

Blackdagger Games and Hoard O' Bits are the only bits sites I look at. If you compare them you will find that they sometimes sell the same bit at pretty different prices. Shop around between them and you can save some money. Noproblem with hob. That being said I find that Blackdagger Games ( eBay user window-box) is the best bits store on the web. Best selection and never a problem. Plus they are right across the border in Georgia so super fast shipping to me in South Carolina!
