I was going to rant over how poorly worded 'Ignore Line of Sight' is but I don't have the strength so I will remind people of one little thing as to why Line of sight is broken:
A sentence giving you permission to ignore line of sight for firing purposes does not grant you permission to ignore it for other purposes... such as assigning wounds those shots generated.
Not to mention the timing problems that 'ignore line of sight' often cause, one of which being that you technically don't have permission to evoke it till AFTER you need to evoke it....

None of which as any relevance to the discussion at hand. Even hand waving those issues away changes nothing.

So general concensus is that the unit gets overwatch but SMS interceptor still requires LOS.

No, not by that logic at all. Youre just conflating two checks into one, and pretending theyre the same because they both ask for LOS. Theyre not the same.
