I believe that Warrior is still in print. Basically an Americanised version of WRG 7th.
Indeed.
I'm on the verge of getting a couple of pendraken armies for the punic wars to get my son interested in wargaming. And more than likely help him with his maths, given the whole CPF thing and the casualty table etc. Rereading the rules, I was amazed that there are only really about 7 pages of rules - the rest is weather, troop types, designers notes etc.
I'll agreed that 6th was better than 7th, but I can't be bothered with the individual figure basing. And as much as I liked 6th more, 7th gave a better game.
As for availability when I checked the rules were still available from The Keep, both from their website and from their ebay store - which is another nostalgic plus. I am half tempted to order them via post with a cheque like the good old days. And better still they are a fiver, so you can get the rule book and all the army lists, and probably a copy of the Tony Bath's Macedonian and Punic Wars for what you would pay for a hard back book, with wargaming porn pics, from Games Worksh... ahem... Warlord - (which also only have about 7 pages of rules)
