I don't care in the slightest; you can have one of my cap badges if you like, I have loads of the damn things.
Wearing bits and pieces of uniform or badges/decorations is fine if done casually and there is no chance that you could be mistaken for having earned them. In other words your not a Walt.
Medals are a different story as they are usually much more personal and besides they are a pain in the arse to wear unless you get them properly mounted.
