Pardon my back tracking, but
[regarding using a Nightscythe rather than Veil to deploy D&D squad]

Then I could see the necessity behind a Night Scythe. Plus, this would help us to avoid the whole intercept problem.
... I thought things arriving by Nightscythe were still susceptible to Interceptor fire? (unit arrives from reserves, after all).
Has there been a FAQ update I'm unaware of?
(genuinely wondering)

I have to ask how do you use the them and any particular reason that you prefer Voids over Rod? Flexibility?

Basically, yeah. In most lists, I would recommend people go with Rod, however in my list, I need them to be flexible enough to fulfill anti-AV14 duties, as well as efficiency against things like Wave Serpents, that Rods can take, but not nearly as well as VB/PC can. Rod's particular niche, TEq, is generally filled by my Flayed Ones, or a combination of Flayed Ones/TPs/Wraiths, if need be (but who runs that much TEq these days )?

You sir are correct. I was thinking about the following turn after they come in as it is unlikely if you're playing H&A, to unload a D&D squad onto an important target without being forced to snap fire (which would deny the template).

I can understand that then, and rather like the idea. I think you have encouraged me to try out Praetorians! I've been wanting a break from the typical Wraith style list anyway. It will be nice to use something that is likely better against the HROF meta we see today. Though, again I must ask, how has your list typically preform versus these kinds of lists?
