Skyfire marker lights are nothing to scoff at. Some of the locals thing im weird for bringing skyrays instead of loading up on VTs for my broadsides. Skyray can hit a big target if no air is around and provide good SMS support, what does the VT do? Rather spend the additional points lol. Those 2 skyfire markerlights are insane.

Actually the funniest thing i did with skyfire markerlights was a chain-light effect. Opponent brought 2 vendettas and the skyray blew one up instantly. Next turn it lit the other up with 2 lights, which i used on some Pathfinders to boost their snapshots to BS3, giving me 4 in the end (1 more than average). Next on my Longstrike Railhead and blasted that sucker out of the air rofl. My opponent was quite shocked rofl.
